It was a dry but rather cool April and I had the opportunity to be right there, at the Todra Gorge. Todra Gorge is about only 15 km away from Tinerhir. It’s possible to stay at the foot of the canyons, where there are some auberges and hotels. However, I didn’t and I chose to stay in Tinerhir. 

For the adventurous, you might want to hook up with a local agent on climbing the gorge. As my level of fitness was (and is still) down in the dumps, I was happy only to take pictures and walk around and observe and be awe-inspired by God’s beautiful creation here.

Oh ya! Don’t underestimate the cost of food here (it may cost up to 30-100% more) so, bring enough cash as I didn’t see any banks right here. The nearest ones would probably be in town of course.
